Diagnostics - JDG Autos charges £45 for an initial diagnosis. The client must pay the full balance at time of diagnosis. Please see the “Payment” section for more details. 

 

Quotes - There is no charge for JDG Autos to create a quote. JDG Autos will automatically produce a quote which includes high quality non-OEM parts as this is what the majority of clients prefer. However, if the client would like to receive a quote for OEM parts (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or low quality non-OEM, JDG Autos will happily provide another quote so the client can compare the price. 

If you would like JDG Autos to proceed with the work outlined on the quote a deposit of a non-refundable 20% is required within 5 days of the quote being issued. This deadline is due to the fluctuation of part costs in the market as well as availability. If a deposit is not received within 5 days a new quote will be issued to reflect the updated part costs. Once a deposit is received the client agrees to the terms and conditions.

 

Payment - As stated in the “Quotes” section above, a deposit of a non-refundable 20% must be paid within 5 days of the client informing JDG Autos that they would like to proceed with the work listed on the quote. The remaining balance must be paid on completion of work (an invoice will be issued on the same day). 

JDG Autos accepts payment of bank transfer or cash. If you are paying via bank transfer please send to the below bank account. Please use your invoice number as the reference.

Condition of vehicle - The client must leave enough fuel in the vehicle for JDG Autos to carry out the work and test drive (if applicable). JDG Autos will be able to advise on the volume of fuel required if the client is unsure. JDG Autos is not responsible for replacing the fuel which was required to carry out the work.

 

Mileage Cost - If JDG Autos has to travel more than 10 miles from Burton Latimer to the vehicle location a charge of 0.45p per mile will be applied to the quote/invoice. 

 

MOT Prep - JDG Autos can provide a service of MOT prep which can consist of visual inspection and any repair work needed prior to/after the MOT test. JDG Autos accepts no liability for vehicles failing an MOT as it is the decision of the MOT tester.
